Hello!
It saddens me to write this, but I've had a change of plans. I didn't go to YWAM Tyler in January. YWAM Tyler is a special place to me. My heart is there. I want to serve there. But it's important to me to be sure to do what God has planned for me, and I’m not sure that YWAM Tyler is in His plan for me right now.
While I have received monetary support, I was unable to raise enough funds to commit to full-time missions, with the 2-year minimum commitment required.
To all of you who gave, thank you! Your support will not go to waste. With the funds you have given, and the funds I have been able to personally save, I will be able to serve in a short-term capacity.
And so, although I'm a little disappointed in some ways, I'm also hopeful for the future. I have been in communication with other YWAM bases as well as other mission organizations about serving with them for a time. And I look forward to seeing these opportunities unfold.
Updates coming as soon as the decisions have been made! I'm continuing to pray and seek the Lord on this. Will you also pray the Lord's will be done?
